Faux Snow Day

Well, you know those moments of motherhood when you walk in on something that is SO infuriating & a crazy-child-psycho-snap-in-judgement moment - you don't even THINK about grabbing the camera? Then, you relive it as you share the moment of drama with someone else, the first thing they ask you is, "Did you take a picture?!" It is then that you realize that you missed a major memory in the making! Well... this was THAT moment...

Brock & Lily had been quiet for WAY too long... So, I went upstairs to the only bedroom that had the door closed (NEVER a good sign).... I hear crazy, high pitched giggling (also RARELY a good sign).... I fling the door open to see my two sweet children having a self-proclaimed SNOW DAY - INSIDE my house!

Erika's lap desk had a small hole in the bottom padding & was leaking out those evil, static filled white, foamish beads.... so the two mischief makers saw an opportunity & jumped on it (literally). Filling Lily & Erika's bedroom w/ flying, static filled "snow"! They 'helped' the hole get bigger, dumped the entire 6.5 tons (thereabout) of fake snow on the floor & were covering toys in the fake snow - covering each other in the fake snow - tossing it up, so it 'snows' on them.... All while wearing snow hats & mittens!

This is what my whole house vac looked like when I was HALF way through.... then, I had to vacuum the garage & outside around the trash cans where I dumped it. I am sure the neighbors were thinking I was a major OCD clean freak. It was such a mess!
When I walked back in the house from vacuuming the outside of my property & more mad than a wet hen.... this is what I saw hung on the bannister & it actually made me chuckle:

Needless to say, that was about a month ago.... I am STILL vaccuuming up those evil little beads! This time, wishing I would have just grabbed the camera first......
